A short list of what the site stores, and what the Google tools I use may set.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. I also use the browser's own storage, which works in the same way. Some of it is needed for the site to behave properly. Some of it helps me understand how the site is used.
What the site stores
The site needs these to work. They do not follow you to other sites and are not used for advertising.
| Name | What it is for | Kept |
|---|---|---|
nf-season (browser storage) | Remembers which season of the site you picked. | Until you clear it |
nf-offer (browser storage) | Remembers that you closed the launch-offer card, so it does not come back every page. | A week, or a month if you used it |
nf-lead (session storage) | Carries what you typed in the short chat at the bottom of a page to the booking form. Nothing is sent from the chat itself. | Until you close the tab |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | A security check on the forms that tells people from bots. It may store a small value to do so. | Set by Cloudflare |
Site usage
I use Google tools to collect information about how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are. I use it to improve the site, not to identify you. These tools may set cookies of their own.
| Name | Who | What it is for | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Tells one visitor from another, and keeps a visit together. | Up to 2 years | |
nf-attr (session storage) | Nickelfall | Remembers the campaign link or website that sent you here, so the message you send me can say how you found me. | Until you close the tab |
Your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. The site works either way.
More about how I handle your information is in the privacy policy. Questions? info@nickelfall.ca.
